Some exciting news!

Hi everyone!

I have some exciting news to share with you today! I am joining the Lawn Fawn design team!! I am beyond thrilled to be joining such a talented group of girls and to share more Lawn Fawn projects with you!

Unfortunately, I will be stepping down from the Lawnscaping Challenge team. I have had a blast working with Laurel and the Lawnscaping girls and I am so sad to leave! I can't wait to see what challenges they come up with in the future!

Thanks so much to Kelly for this exciting opportunity, and I can't wait to share more Lawn Fawn cards with you! Have a great evening! :)

Sweet Donut Birthday

*If you are looking for my Lawnscaping Challenge post, keep scrolling down or click here. :)

Hello again! I'm back to share a card with you that is featured on the Lawn Fawn blog today!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Donut Worry," "Year Two" (for the party hats), "Sweet Christmas," "Big Scripty Words" die, Yeti Ink, Black Licorice cardstock, and Cloudy Lawn Trimmings. I started by stamping the donuts and hats onto white cardstock, coloring them with Copic markers, and adding clear stickles. The donuts are all attached with foam tape. I then stamped the sentiment onto black cardstock and cut it out with scissors (don't look too close - I can't cut in a straight line!). I also die cut the "birthday" from black cardstock and attached it with foam tape. I finished the card with some twine and bow. Here is a close up on the card:

The faces that are included in the "Donut Worry" set are my favorites - haha! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! :)

Lawnscaping #134 - Rainbow

Hi everyone! It's time again for a new Lawnscaping Challenge!

This week's challenge is to create a project with the colors of the rainbow!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Yay, Kites!" stamp and die, "Big Scripty Words" stamp and die, "Puffy Cloud Border" die, and Mermaid Ink. I stamped and colored the kites with Copic markers, and added a few heart and star images to the large kites. The edges of the clouds are inked with the Mermaid Ink. Here is a close up on the card:

Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to play along! The winner will receive a free stamp set of their choice from Lawn Fawn! Have you seen the new products that will be release in August?! Soo cute!! :)

I hope you have a wonderful day! :)

Happy 4th of July!

*This is my second post of the day. If you're looking for my Lawnscaping post, continue scrolling or click here. :)

Hello again! I have a 4th of July card to share with you that is featured on the Lawn Fawn Blog today!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Finley's ABCs," "Riley's ABCs," "Blue Skies" stamp and dies, various heart stamps, and Manatee Ink. The letters and banners are colored with Copic markers, and I added details to the banner with a white gel pen.

I hope that you have a great 4th of July! And thank you, Kelly Marie, for sharing my card on the Lawn Fawn blog today! :)

Lawnscaping #133 - Mood Board Inspired

Hi everyone! Happy 4th of July! Do you have anything fun planned for today? We're going to have a family picnic and try to watch fireworks from my in-laws backyard. Hopefully we'll be able to see some, but if not, we have sparklers! :)

So, there is a new Lawnscaping Challenge today! Yay! The challenge is to create a card based on the inspiration photo below:

I really liked the yellow and blue in the picture, so this is what I created:

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Chit Chat" stamp and die, "Sun and Moon," "Simple Puffy Cloud Frames," Let's Polka patterned paper, and the smiley face from "Pizza My Heart," and yellow twine. I also added some blue ink behind the sun to give it more detail for the background, and added a few hearts around the fun.

To make the clouds, I die cut them from blue paper and then inked the edges of the inside cloud. I used a little bit of tape on the back to keep the frames together, added some detail with a white gel pen, and attached them with foam tape.

I hope you're able to play along with the challenge because the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate from Ellen Hutson!

Have a great day! :)
